Are you planning a visit?

We know that visiting a church for the first time can be intemmidating and over whelming with pressures to commit. At Carrollton Christian Fellowship we believe in all things of worship and service come from a cheerful heart and not heart burdened or driven into a frenzy for an emotional purpose and experience. That is why at Carrollton Christian Fellowship your never be pressured into church membership and then more resources and time from the church are given to you; you'll never see an offering plate passed, but you will have to go out of your way to give financially; you'll never hear of a pledge drive for a building project.

Why do we approach ministry this way?

That's not very business minded?

Because we don't see in scripture that the Church is to operate as a business nor that God's heart is for individuals to  worship out of compulsion but from a cheerful heart from the knowledge and understanding of what God has done for us through the work of Jesus Christ on the Cross.
Check out our latest sermon(s) to get an idea of how it is that Carrollton Christian Fellowship approaches scripture and the importance of which we hold Scripture for understanding who God is, how it is that He requires worship, to direct us in prayer, and the understanding of what is the ministry of the Holy Spirit and what is counter fit of the Holy Spirit

What to Expect

We are a church that seeks to ENCOUNTER the Lord through dynamic worship and prayer, EQUIP the saints for the work of ministry, and EVANGELIZE – until the whole world hears.

for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,  till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
Ephesians 4:12-16

We teach through the Bible; not our experiences

The Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God, given for our benefit and instruction. So we take the time to study the entirety of God’s Word in order to understand it and apply it to our everyday lives. The Bible is the leanse at which Carrollton Christian Fellowship looks at our situations, circumstance, and experiences and not the other way around

We Love one another like family; not a spiritual ladder

God has given us unity of purpose in Christ, and called us to have unity in fellowship. So we love and support one another as brothers and sisters in Christ, through peace and conflict, no matter what.

We Pray

Jesus gave us access to the throne room of God in His name through prayer to receive whatever we ask for. So we pray together often, expectant that God will be true to His Word, and that we will encounter His presence.

We Strive for Holiness

The Holy Spirit dwells within us, sanctifying us to be more and more like Jesus. So we take personal integrity seriously and will not rest until we have grown into mature Christian disciples, not into being okay with who we are in and of ourselves. We desires that the world around us will every day encounter more and more the person of Jesus Christ as we walk about our daily lives.

Team Work

Every Christian is valuable and necessary for the Church to function properly. So we build teams to do the work of ministry and we urge every believer to get in the game and participate in what Jesus is doing amongst the Body of Christ.

We Worship Together in Person

Scripture says all life should be an act of worship, and that we should never neglect the in person gathering of the Saints. So we gather together and give glory to God through corporate praise and worship.

We Take the Gospel Out

Jesus commissioned us to preach the Good News to every creature. So we reach out to evangelize Carrollton in many ways, and work to multiply our efforts by reaching outside of the greater Carrollton community.

Walking Together with Grace

God has shown us overwhelming patience and compassion through Jesus Christ. So we treat one another with forgiveness and love in all things.

We Seek after Spiritual Gifts and their Equipping

Christ gave to each believer the manifestation of the Spirit for the benefit of all. So we encourage each other to discover these gifts, and give the opportunity for them to be used.

We Take Bold Steps of Faith

God honors those who take Him at His Word that we are strengthened in daily and are edified in in times of corporate worship, then step out in brave obedience. So we try new things, unafraid of small beginnings and messy middles, as we work towards excellent endings.
During times of gathering as a body our heart is to give ample amount of time for the Spirit to move amongst the Body here at Carrollton Christian Fellowship when we gather corporately in three general areas of Word, Worship, and Fellowship. We're currently reading through the Bible in a year and there's a daily Devotional Blog and Vlog to go along with the a portion of the Daily Reading as well as devotions for the whole family from our weekly Old and New Testament Bible Studies. Here at Carrollton Christian Fellowship we desire to stay flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our worship, therefore we keep each specific time of Word, Worship, and Fellowship as such and do not allow these key times of worship to be interrupted and attention to be drawn onto a single individual as Paul commanded the Corinthians in 1 Corinthians 14:26-30

Word:

Our primary focus is being intentional to give the Holy Spirit the freedom to work corporately through time in Studying of Scripture, and the Holy Spirit speaking from the Word of God, where God has fully revealed Himself in and through Jesus Christ. Carrollton Christian Fellowship's Services are expositional, where we go through the Bible verse by verse expounding upon scripture and applying scripture to where it applies to today. Every service time is a Study of the Bible. Carrollton Christian Fellowship, in our corporate times of gathering, also gives room to the Holy Spirit through worship in Song, Fellowship, as well as the 3rd Thursday of every month our Afterglow services.

Worship:

At Carrollton Christian Fellowship we see that scripture models for the Christian that worship is not just something that is only songs that we sing during corporate gatherings, singing praise of God for who He is and what He has done through Jesus Christ. Worship is anything we do in response as we grow in the knowledge of God, Ephesians 1:18-23. As a Body of Christ, Carrollton Christian Fellowship desires to worship Christ by Worshipping Him with songs of praise when we gather, because of what He has done for us that everything has been placed in Him. We believe His love in our lives is the primary manifestation that we have been truly worshipping Him.

Fellowship:

Carrollton Christian Fellowship currently meets at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Carrollton, Ga which is behind Shine Time Car Wash and Kroger off Hwy 27 South.

Carrollton Christian Fellowship recognizes the unity of the Body of Christ, and the importance of there not being distinctions, clicks, and social devisions within the Body of Christ.

And He, the Father, placing all things under His, Christ's, feet and gave Christ to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Ephesians 1:22-23

Because Christ has been made head over everything, we make Christ the center and reason for everything.
