Matthew 24-27 concludes our mini-series titled 'The Offering of the King’, we explore the context and reasons behind Jesus's betrayal and the events leading up to His crucifixion. The text highlights key themes such as repentance, forgiveness, and Jesus' final message to his disciples. The text covers the prophecies of Jesus' second coming and judgment, the abomination of desolation, the importance of readiness and righteousness, and the responses of different individuals to Jesus' coming judgement and eternal Divinity. We highlight the divergent responses to Jesus's foretold judgment and underscore the previous emphasis Jesus has given to living righteously in anticipation of His return and the emphasis of living with urgency, recognizing false teachings, and the contrasting responses of the righteous and the unrighteous.
