Genesis 18-19

Are we on board of doing things with man's strength or doing and waiting on God's strength.

Just as those who seek to have a life separated and set apart from the world and for the Lord today, Abraham also had to look-on at the life style, pressure from, and direction of Sodom. Abraham had just finished taking God's promise and fulfilling this in his strength and the results did not bring the results that God desired. God gives Abraham a taste and a practical demonstration of what doing things in his strength brings about, and God shows Abraham what comes about when Abraham chooses to trust in God's timing and strength, and not only receive the promise but instead the whole package of God's promise in Faith and not in his works.
